The company is seeking a proven sales professional with experience selling high-tech products and/or services to increase our market share and revenue. As a Direct Sales Account Representative, you are a key part of our field sales team. Working on sales in a defined territory or industry vertical, you will be responsible for building new commercial relationships as well as expanding and improving business with existing customers. You will also assist in the planning and execution of sales plans for each account and be expected to meet quantitative and qualitative performance goals and set high standards for articulation and presentation of key messages and the company’s value proposition. Our company has a compelling product and vision, continuous growth, and is looking for you to expand our sales efforts and take our team forward.

 

Job Responsibilities:

- Successfully sell the company's products and services in assigned territory or industry vertical. - Meet assigned sales quotas by acquiring new customer accounts and renewing and growing existing accounts.

- Call on prospective customers, providing technical and administrative product information, demonstrations, and price quotes.

- Develop and close sustainable revenue across technology lines.

- Accurately forecast and close sales commensurate with company goals.

- Understanding the customer's business and technology product requirements.

- Accountable for growing existing business relationships and acquiring new business.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

- 3 to 5 years sales experience with a demonstrated track-record of success, preferably in the software/IT industry.

- Knowledge of FSI Industry Sales and a passion for open source technology.

- Strong understanding of complete sales cycle management, from prospecting to closing.

- Demonstrated understanding of companies and opportunities that exist within assigned territory and/or vertical market segment.

- Ability to work as part of a young and dynamic team whilst demonstrating flexibility, autonomy and a desire to make things happen.

- Bachelors degree, preferably in business, marketing or technical discipline.
