We are a
leading appliance based systems management solution. This position is a great
opportunity to be part of an exciting team within our company, addressing the
significant market opportunity within Japan with a highly differentiated
solution.
The Outside Product Specialist will drive direct and indirect sales of Systems
Management appliances into Medium and Large Enterprise Accounts in Japan.
Working in tandem with other sales specialists, the Outside Product Specialist
is expected to advocate, develop, drive, support and close business in the territory,
in tandem with regional teams in all segments. The ideal candidate will have a
blended enterprise software/solution sales and technical background and be
proficient in enterprise software/solution sales methodologies and processes.
They will also need to have or quickly develop a strong understanding of the
systems management market. This person will work closely with our Japan sales
teams, Storage and Software Product Specialists and Channel Partners to further
grow the product portfolio.
Job Responsibility
- Probe
for customer pain-points and identify new sales opportunities
- Navigate complex organizations to find and influence key decision makers
- Achieve results and exceed customer quality expectations.
- Work effectively, independently and with existing sales and channel teams.
- Extensive travel is required for this position up to 50% in territory.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 7-10 years
of enterprise software/solution sales experience
- 3-5 years experience in Systems Management solutions
- Bachelor's degree preferred - Other Degree + Experience considered
- Knowledge of Storage, Server and Enterprise architecture solutions a plus
- Extensive customer facing experience and strong presentation skills
- Native Leveled Japanese and Fluency in English is preferred
