Software Engineer (Web Technology)

As an Engineer in Premium Support, you will be helping customers innovate by leveraging our company services. You will have opportunities to work on a comprehensive range of technical problems, prototyping solutions, diving into details of network, computation, database and operating systems.

Job responsibilities:

- Writing code samples, tutorials, and technical articles for the developer community.
- Ensure the technical success of developers leveraging on infrastructure by providing necessary documentation and technical guidance.
- Provide recommendations to help developers create better solutions. Ensure the prompt and effective resolution of technical challenges.
- Improving our product offerings by working with internal teams including Product Management and Engineering.
- Driving developer community and customer communications during critical events.

Minimum Qualifications :

-      Experience with distributed computing. At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Internet product development. Experience with the following technologies:
Linux and Windows
Networking (DNS, TCP/IP)
Programming (Java, Ruby, C#)

-      Software architecture skills for building web based products

-      Excellent oral and written communication skills. Customer facing experience preferred

-      Flexibility in work schedule (shifts, weekend) preferred

-      Fluency in Mandarin and English is required

Preferred Qualifications :

-      BA/BS in a technical field preferred; Computer Science or Engineering background highly desired

-      Experience building complex software systems with specific recommendations on server, L7/L4 load balancing, High Availability/Disaster Recovery, & storage systems

-      Experience working within the software development or Internet industries is highly desired

-      Enterprise application and database architecture a plus
